Office Junior/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Junior Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing excellent front-desk support, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be proficient in office software, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls with proper phone etiquette and direct them accordingly
  • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using organisational tools
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy and welcoming
  • Handle correspondence via email and postal mail efficiently
  • Support administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation
  • Taking card payments face to face and over the telephone

Experience

  • Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy desirable but not essential
  • Experience with data entry and clerical duties is advantageous
