Lindsay joined the firm in October 2018 and deals with Residential and Commercial Conveyancing as well as Wills and Probate.

Lindsay obtained her Law Degree locally at Newcastle University in 2004 and completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University in 2005. Following her four years at University she worked as a fee earner for a large firm in Newcastle for 8 years. In 2013 she moved to a firm in Alnwick where she worked for 5 years until joining Lawson and Thompson.

Lindsay has extensive experience in many areas of property law including sales, purchases, right to buy, transfers of equity, remortgages, shared ownership/shared equity, Help to Buy, unregistered land, rural properties, leasehold, equity release, bridging finance and tenancy agreements as well as various other property matters.

Lindsay lives in Ashington with her husband, two sons and her pug dog. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, dog walking, reading and listening to podcasts.

      Dealing with property law for the past 17 years I have been a first-hand witness to the rollercoaster that is the property market. The housing price boom in 2006/2007, the crash in 2008 and the recession in the years that followed. But in 2020 a global pandemic had an effect on the housing market that I (and most people) did not expect.
