Practice Manager awarded Aran Bowl by the Institute of Legal Finance & Management

Crediton solicitors Charlesworth Nicholl’s Practice Manager, Sue Williams, is awarded the Aran Bowl in recognition of her work with the Institute of Legal Finance & Management.

The Institute of Legal Finance & Management (ILFM) is a national body based in Sidcup in Kent which promotes excellence in legal finance and legal practice management.  Sue Williams joined the ILFM in 2001 soon after starting work at Charlesworth Nicholl and was elected onto their Executive Council a couple of years later.

The Aran Bowl is awarded each year to a member of the ILFM for dedication and service given unselfishly to forward the aims and objectives of the Institute.

Sue served as Chair of the ILFM from 2015 to 2017, leading the Executive Council as well as representing the ILFM at functions and events across the Country.  She stepped down at the end of her two year term as Chair, but then agreed to return to the Chair 3 months later when her successor was unable to continue due to personal circumstances.  Sue stepped down again at the end of November 2018, but continues to serve as a member of the Executive Council.

Sue has been awarded the Aran Bowl for having given over and above the expectation of her role.  Sue said “I believe passionately in the work of the ILFM promoting training and excellence for legal cashiers and practice managers and I am honoured to receive this award.”  Chris Nicholl, senior partner of Charlesworth Nicholl added “Sue has worked extremely hard to support the ILFM while continuing to fulfil her role here in Crediton and we are delighted that her work has been recognised in this way.”
