Woodside Hall Nursing Home in Hailsham recently held a Great Balloon Race to raise money for the residents activity fund. One hundred and fifty pink balloons were released by nursing home residents, with the balloon travelling the furthest distance winning afternoon tea for two at the Grand Hotel.
QualitySolicitors Barwells sponsored the event which raised over £250 for the residents activity fund. Stephen Ash, Partner at QualitySolicitors Barwells said: " We are very proud to be able to raise money to help provide the numerous and fun activties for the Woodside Hall residents. All the residents enjoyed the balloon race along with an afternoon of rat pack singing and afternoon tea and cake in the sunshine."
