Jemma Smith

Partner, Joint Head of Property

I am Solicitor, Partner & Joint Head of Conveyancing in our Eastbourne Conveyancing department having joined Barwells in 2017. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 after completing my Legal Practice Course in London and became Partner in February 2022.

I deal with both residential and commercial property transactions. My recent cases have included drafting leases for a large residential development, asset purchase of a local business and lease of premises, statutory lease extension for a residential flat, sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties and purchase of land.

I have been commended by my clients for excellent service, helpful advice and my professional approach.

Outside of work I am kept busy with my young family, but when I do get free time I like to socialise with friends.
