Ria Emin
Ria is a Practitioner in the Private Client Department and has been working for Barwells since 2006 where she started as a Trainee Legal Assistant. After successfully completing her CILEX exams in 2019, Ria is a CILEX Member and is working towards becoming a Fellow.
Ria is based at our Seaford office and deals with all Private Client matters to include; Wills, Administration of Estates, Care Home and Asset Protection planning and creation of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Ria’s recent cases have included; providing advice to people preparing Wills to protect vulnerable beneficiaries or to safeguard assets on a second marriage, dealing with the administration of Estates either in accordance with the terms of a person’s Will or based on the Intestacy rules, many times involving Inheritance Tax considerations. Ria has been commended by her clients for her professional advice and her friendly and sympathetic approach when dealing with bereaved or vulnerable clients.
Outside of work Ria enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoys going to gigs and reading.
