Tim Morgan

Consultant, Wills, Trusts & Probate

I work part-time (Tuesdays & Thursdays) in our Private Client Department specialising in administration of deceased’s Estates, Management of Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Wills, advising the elderly and Inheritance Tax Planning.

I studied Law and Economics at Keele University obtaining my degree in 1975. After a period with the Central Electricity Generating Board in Bristol and London, I completed my training and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980 when I then joined Barwells in Seaford.

I became Partner in 1982 and in the same year I opened Barwells Eastbourne Office (where I am now based). I am happy to see clients in their own home throughout Sussex if they have problems attending at the office.

I have been a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners since 1997 and am also a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society. I was a member of the Committee of the Eastbourne Law Society for some years and have served as its President.

I am involved in the local community; I was as a Round Tabler for many years, helping to raise many thousands of pounds for local charities. I have been Chairman of Downland Eastbourne Round Table and 41 Club. I am also a member of the Catenians.

Outside the office, I enjoy walking on the Sussex Downs, gardening, military history, watching Rugby Union and spending time with my family.
