We would like to offer a warm welcome to Kathy Cracknell and Francesca Whittaker who have recently joined the growing Dunn & Baker team.
Kathy was welcomed into the Residential Property department in May 2023 as a part-time Solicitor, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from our Exeter office. Having begun her legal career in 2010 as a Conveyancing Assistant, Kathy commenced her Training Contract in 2013 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2015. She now specialises in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing including residential sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity and land transfers, for both freehold and leasehold properties. Kathy believes that providing clear and easy-to-understand advice to clients is vital during any transaction. With an empathetic nature, Kathy always tries to accommodate any requirements her clients have and is happy to use the communication method that her clients feel most comfortable with.
In June 2023, Francesca joined the Exeter office as a Solicitor in the Private Client department, working part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Francesca qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and became a fully accredited member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2018. Specialising in all areas of private client, including the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax advice and estate administration, Francesca aims to provide a comforting and familiar service to her clients. She believes in taking time to understand their circumstances and presenting information to them in a clear and understandable manner.
