Gareth is an Associate Solicitor in the Property Department based in the Penarth Office, and in December 2022, he became a Partner of the firm. He works within the areas of conveyancing, assisting with residential property matters.
Education: Gareth completed his secondary education at Lewis School Pengam in Pengam where he studied law for the first time. Gareth enjoyed studying law showing a real flare for learning and subsequently excelled during his written exams pleasing both teachers and parents. At this point Gareth decided to pursue a career within the legal profession. Gareth continued to study Law at Swansea University, before going on to study the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University which he completed in 2013. Gareth undertook his training contract with J A Hughes and he qualified as a solicitor in June 2019
Career: Prior to joining the firm Gareth worked as a Paralegal in several law firms based in Cardiff and undertook voluntary work experience in Law firms gaining experience within the area of residential conveyancing and working with individuals. Each role for Gareth has given him the opportunity to challenge himself and extend his knowledge of conveyancing further which he is looking to utilise in his role at the firm.
Personal: In his spare time Gareth enjoys watching sports (Rugby and Tennis), meeting new people and socialising with friends and relatives.
