Jeremy Davies

Jeremy is the Head of the Commercial and Conveyancing Departments at J A Hughes. He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of commercial property transactions. Jeremy is also involved in the setting up of new businesses, and also business sales and purchases. Jeremy also advises on the setting up of all partnerships, including disputes, dissolution and mergers. In addition Jeremy advises on commercial funding, together with contracts of employment, sales contracts, service agreements and leasing and hire agreements.

Education: Jeremy studied law at University of Wales.

Career: Jeremy qualified in 1986 having served articles with Godfrey Evans & Co. in Penarth. He remained with the Practice and became a Partner in 1988. In 1999 Godfrey Evans & Co. merged with J A Hughes with Jeremy remaining in the Penarth office. He has over the years built up a vast knowledge in the fields of both domestic and commercial conveyancing. Since the merger, Jeremy has headed the Commercial/Conveyancing department. He has a wide range of experience in all areas of commercial law and over the years has acted in a large number of diverse and complicated multi-million pound transactions.

Personal: Jeremy is married with two children and living in Dinas Powis.

Leisure: Jeremy spends his spare time enjoying outdoor pursuits and rugby.
