Education:

Talia completed her secondary education at Cyfarthfa High School. After completing her A Levels at Merthyr Tydfil Sixth Form College, Talia attended Cardiff University to study Law and Criminology. Talia successfully graduated in the summer of 2021 and has gained a First-class honours degree. Talia hopes to go onto to complete the Legal Practice Course or to qualify under the Solicitor Qualifying Examinations.

Career:

Talia has undergone many roles throughout her education in both retail and hospitality helping to gain a number of transferable skills. Talia has undergone work experience at Speakeasy Law advice clinic in Cardiff, looking at issues relating to employment law, housing and debt. Talia has spent time at Cardiff University’s Legal Probono centre campaigning for change in environmental legislation across Wales. Talia is an avid volunteer; at Cardiff University she became President of a student-led service to help combat mental health and loneliness amongst students. Talia also successfully sat as Student Senate, Cardiff Student’s Union highest decision-making authority.

Leisure:

Talia enjoys running, socialising with friends and family, and digesting culture wherever there is an opportunity to travel
