Experience 34 years +

Qualified as a Solicitor in 1984 and has been a Partner in the firm since 1991.  Many years of litigation experience and deals with a broad range of litigation cases, both civil and criminal – including the Military Court and the Employment Tribunal.

Born and brought up in Bristol, Peter read Law at Bristol University followed by the Solicitors’ Final Exam at what was then Bristol Polytechnic (now the West of England University).

Over the years Peter has dealt with hundreds of cases and prides himself on his eye for detail and striving in every case for the best possible outcome for his client.  He brings his breadth of experience and depth of knowledge to every new case he takes on.  He believes that inspires confidence in the clients for whom he acts.

One of the cases Peter best remembers, because it caused a national stir at the time, was a property misrepresentation case; where his clients successfully sued the person from whom they had bought their house.  The seller had failed to disclose to his clients before they bought, that a number of times she had complained about her noisy neighbour.  The seller had to pay Peter’s clients substantial compensation and legal costs. This case was covered in the national press and on TV; it also had conveyancing Solicitors thinking carefully about what information a client selling may need to disclose to any prospective purchaser.  At that time, it became a very hot topic.
