Sam Hughes

Criminal Paralegal

I joined the firm in 2007 as a secretary within the Criminal Department. Prior to that I had worked as a secretary within the Criminal Department of another local firm. After joining QualitySolicitors Jordans I quickly became interested in the miscarriage of justice work undertaken by Mark Newby and as a result of that became the Administrator for the Appeals Department. I also undertook work preparing and clerking cases before the Crown Court. In 2011 I completed the BTEC Advanced Diploma in Paralegal work and I am currently a Fellow member of the Institute of Paralegals.

At the present time I have my own caseload of appeal cases and am also the Administrator for the Appeals Department.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
