SEN | A week in Review 24th - 30th August 2020

As the schools begin to reopen and the 'new normal' takes effect, it's been an eventful week in the world of education and SEN....
  1. As schools begin to return full time over the coming days, the Government has launched an £8 million programme to boost pupil and teacher wellbeing. Following months of disruption, uncertainty and facing the unknown in regards to their education, many children will be impacted by the covid pandemic for a long time to come. READ HERE.

The highlight over the past few months has most certainly been the importance of ‘getting children back into schools and back to their education’ so when so many parents have been struggling to get their child with SEN into education for many years….. where has that support been?
