Equality and Diversity Policy

Moore & Tibbits is committed to ensuring the elimination of discrimination and the promotion of equality and diversity in all our professional dealings.   This means that all clients, job applicants and employees, counsel, experts or agents will receive equal treatment regardless of nationality, ethnic or national origins, age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnerships, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex (gender) or sexual orientation.

In accordance with the Solicitors' Regulation Authority's requirements, everyone within the practice has had an opportunity to complete a survey in order to monitor the ethnic and sexual composition of the existing staff.

Out of 56 employees and Directors, we received 17 responses which included 4 Solicitors; 3   undertaking another fee earner role; 5 directly supporting a fee earner; 2 from a managerial role; 2 from an IT/HR role, and 1 who preferred not to say.

The survey covered the following areas: age, gender identity; transgender; disability; day-to-day limitations; ethnicity; religion or belief; sexual orientation; school type from 11 to 16; highest level of qualification achieved by either parent; primary carer for a child under 18; and time spent providing unpaid care for those with long term physical or mental ill health caused by disability or age.
