  2. A heart breaking story of a breach human rights in the forcible removal of Mr Mazhar from his home in April 2016. The Court of Appeal ruled that Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust wrongly sought an order to remove Mr Mazhar from his home without giving Mr Mazhar or his family notice of the application. The Court of Appeal ruled that the Court wrongly granted an order permitting the police and medical professionals to enter Mr Mazhar’s home, use proportionate and reasonable force to remove and transport him to hospital thus constituting a deprivation of liberty.   3. Although we are only in November, preparations have already begun for Christmas. On Monday the government spearheaded a new system of testing for friends and family of those residing in care homes. The press release published on 14 November states that care homes based in Hampshire, Cornwall and Devon will test the new system before it is rolled out nationally.   Minister of Care, Helen Whately states “As Christmas approaches, I want to bring an end to the pain of separation and help care homes bring families and loved ones together.
