Boris Johnson unveils conditional plan to ease restrictions

Yesterday, the Prime Minister announced new guidance for the UK on how the Government plan to rebuild the economy and move into the next phase in the fight against coronavirus.

The new guidance can be found here but the message is now to “stay alert, control the virus, save lives”.

They have also issued guidance on staying alert and safe whilst social distancing which can be found here and also how to stay safe outside your home which can be found here.

The Government have released the industry specific workplace guidance to help employers, employees and the self-employed understand how to work safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

This includes 8 guides for:

  • Construction and other outdoor work
  • Factories, plants and warehouses
  • Labs and research facilities
  • Offices and contact centres
  • Other people’s homes
  • Restaurants offering takeaway or delivery
  • Shops and branches
  • Vehicles
