Education:

Dan completed his GCSEs and A-levels at Barry Comprehensive School, achieving A*- B grades. He attended Exeter University, successfully graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature; before moving on to complete a law conversion course with the University of Law in 2018. Dan has recently completed his Legal Practice Course, Law of Masters (LL.M). During university, Dan undertook mentoring responsibilities, supporting his colleagues and students with their academic studies and emotional/mental health; as well as undergoing pro-bono work such as debating and negotiating. 

Career:

Dan is an existing employee, having worked for J A Hughes in 2019/2020 as a paralegal before taking a break to complete his studies. Dan has undergone a multitude of different roles including retail and caring for elderly patients with dementia. Dan also managed a team of volunteers who support victims and witnesses for the prosecution at Cardiff Crown Court.

Leisure:

Dan enjoys experiencing other cultures and has completed an intermediate level of study in Italian and Japanese languages. A keen artist, Dan often sketches and draws digitally, having submitted a creative dissertation at undergraduate level using this skill.
