Joe joined J A Hughes in December 2016 and is a Trainee Solicitor in the Conveyancing Department.

 

Education: Joe grew up in Bath and undertook his Law degree at Swansea University where he obtained a 2:1, before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course. Whilst studying he also gained experience working with several high street law firms both in Bath and in Swansea.

 

Career: Prior to joining the firm Joe has worked for two of the largest regional law firms in Wales. He has experience in dealing with a variety of legal issues including personal injury, employment disputes, recovery of wrongly paid care home fees, civil litigation and High Court enforcement work. Joe has worked for several large commercial clients as well as individuals.

 

Personal: In his spare time Joe enjoys keeping fit, football and socialising with friends and family. Having a keen interest in travelling, he has visited many countries and has been on bike tours across Cuba, Sri Lanka and Ireland. Joe regularly takes part in charity collections at local football grounds and helps walk the dogs at the local dogs home. He has also previously volunteered at a day centre for people with Alzheimer’s disease and continues to attend events to support sufferers of the disease and their families.
