On Saturday 2nd November Mark Newby from QS Jordans is speaking at the Innocence Network UK National Conference at the University of Sheffield .

The Key note speaker will be Lady Justice Macur and other speakers include Mark George QC , Justin Hawkins from the Criminal Cases Review Commission , Professor Alan Jameson and Peter Mahy amongst others .

Investigating Miscarriage in the world according to Chris Grayling – The Challenges of the Next Ten Years.

The subject matter deals with the fundamental changes we have seen and how these together with the proposals now currently being implemented will alter the map in respect of miscarriage of justice investigations and cases .

Mark will also deal with the explosion of Sexual Abuse cases which will be occupying increasing amounts of the Court of Appeals time , the recent guidance on prosecuting such cases together with the national protocol over disclosure and its implications for future appeal investigation together with the issues of Nunn on access to exhibits and what the forthcoming case of Nealon suggests .
