Conveyancer

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Conveyancer. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transfer of property ownership from one party to another. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients.

In this varied role, your duties will include:

  • Reviewing and preparing legal documents related to property transactions
  • Conducting title searches and ensuring the property has a clear title
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
  • Coordinating with financial institutions to arrange mortgage financing
  • Facilitating the exchange of contracts and completion of the transaction
  • Providing advice and guidance to clients regarding property transactions
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions

You must have

  • Proven experience as a Conveyancer or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of property law and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in using conveyancing software and other relevant tools
  • High level of professionalism and integrity

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £20,015.46-£42,141.19 per year

Administrative Assistant Position

We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic full-time administrative assistant to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent computer and communication skills.
As an administrative assistant you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the office and providing a valuable support service to all members of the team. 

In this varied role, your duties will include:

  • Answering telephones and logging calls
  • Collecting and distributing post
  • Maintaining computer records
  • Audio Typing
  • Supporting the Practice Manager with various initiatives 
  • To be considered for this position you must be: 
  • Willing to undertake further job-related training
  • Flexible to the needs of the firm
  • Able to work 35 hours ( Monday to Friday 9am-5pm) 

You must have:

  • Confident IT skills including excellent word-processing
  • An accurate and thorough approach
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Understanding of client confidentiality
  • Experience of office equipment (e.g fax, photocopier etc.)
  • Professional communication skill – able to communicate with businesses, clients and colleagues, in person, by telephone and in writing.
