Our team are immensely proud to sponsor Chester Pride 2019 for all it stands for in terms of showing support for the equality and acceptance of all LGBT+ people. It’s important for the wider community to be involved as part of this event to march together and enjoy the festivities that strengthen our partnership as an inclusive community.
The 2018 Pride event saw its highest attendance with more than 15,000 people joining throughout the day, and so we’re looking forward to what this year’s event will bring. Chester Pride is celebrated annually and is now in its seventh year. The first event of its kind was organised by Chester University students, along with non-students, in 2011. Following its success, further community engagement and another celebratory event in 2012, the first Chester Pride event as we know it today was organised. And there’s been no looking back since!
Outside of our role as event sponsors, we are proud to offer advice for the LGBT+ community on a wide range of legal issues, including family and relationship matters, living together, discrimination in the workplace, conveyancing and Wills and probate matters. We work to ensure rights are protected under promise of equality through fair treatment.
