Dispute Resolution (Litigation) Apprentice

QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright is a highly regarded and established law firm. We have the opportunity for an apprentice to provide legal support in our Dispute Resolution department. (Litigation)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested commencing a career in law.  Starting on a Legal Administration Apprenticeship in our Dispute Resolution department (Litigation), we are able to offer a clear and transparent pathway to career progression in this area to candidates over 18 years of age.

Providing administration support to the team, the role will include:

  • Copying correspondence, orders and other legal documentation
  • Preparing documentation for storage
  • Day to day filing (electronic and paper)
  • Diary management
  • Use of internal computer database and spreadsheets for recording information
  • Preparing appointment files
  • Providing telephone and typing support
  • Accurate recording of file movement between offices

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Well organised and able to prioritise
  • Computer literate and prepared to learn new database skills
  • Ability to take instruction and show attention to detail
  • Good English and Spelling
  • Hard working, team player willing to offer assistance
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Sensitive to the needs of clients
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times
