The #QSPW Paddle, Plod and Pedal Team would like your support.
Saturday is our big day, we leave Pershore on the boats at 7:00am This gruelling challenge will see the team paddle 15 miles from Pershore to Tewkesbury, walk 15 miles from Tewkesbury to Kempsey and pedal 15 miles from Kempsey back to Pershore. We will hopefully arrive back at Pershore Football Club on our bikes around 7:00pm.
There will be a hog roast and a party for all competitors, their friends and supporters at the finish. If you are available, the team #QSPW would like you to join them to celebrate their achievement. It would be lovely to see as many people as possible and help support St Richard's Hospice.
We have set up a Just Giving page and if you can help in any way, no matter how small the donation, it will go some way towards us reaching our total.
All the proceeds together with gift aid will be given to the Hospice.
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and supports their families. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,300 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
Patients are cared for in Day Hospice, the 16-bed In-patient Unit or in their own homes by a specialist professional team as well as many trained volunteers.
In the In-patient Unit specialist staff are on hand 24 hours a day to manage patients’ symptoms and where, if they so choose, patients may spend the last few days of life in comfort and dignity. St Richard’s is grateful for all donations towards the £6.1m required each year to continue their work.
