Brand Executive at Quality Solicitors

This is an exciting role for someone with a marketing degree, creative flair, can do attitude and looking to work in a unique fast paced environment and who is willing to work across a variety of marketing disciplines. Working closely with the QualitySolicitors network of national law firms (known as Partner Firms), the Partner Firm team and the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the firms marketing needs and assisting with the delivery of these enquiries including; design requests, advice and support, exploring new initiatives and advising how to use the web to print and email suppliers.  

The role will also support delivery of the Annual QS conference, marketing and digital workshops and issue of the quarterly partner firm e-newsletter.

You will also support on ad-hoc internal projects as they arise.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for managing the marketing requests inbox of design enquires and assisting with the delivery of these to the agreed SLA’s and deadlines including;
  • Marketing brief review / clarification with firms of requirements,
  • Brief prioritisation and approval before sending to the Junior Artworker or freelancer
  • Brief log management / freelancer time recording
  • Reviewing and approving design work to the brief and the QS brand guidelines
  • Freelancer and agency liaison, budget recording and pre-approvals.
  • Proof reading any design work which is sent back by designers before sending on to the law firm.
  • Provide law firms with any up to date artwork and information relating to any national campaigns.
  • Conference and event support:
  • Supporting delivery of all aspects of design and merchandising for the Annual QS conference and other Partner Firm events.
  • Partner firm internal communications:
  • Supporting the design, production and fulfilment of the quarterly partner firm e-newsletter, working with the Business Development Director
  • Partner firm client service:
  • Maintaining the MOSAIC web to print service to encourage all partner firms to use the system and ensure the templates are up to date.
  • Manage the stationery and merchandising supplier and undertake both spot and annual price checks to ensure they remain competitive.
  • Answering any inbound calls to the partner firm team and head office and dealing with any enquiries when they come in or passing them on to the relevant person/department.
  • Full CMS training will be given for basic amends to be made to QS.com and Partner Firm websites.
  • Any other duties required from time to time

  • Some proof reading experience (must be highly literate and have attention to detail)

  • Desirable:
  • Marketing degree and 1-2 years’ work experience
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Some experience of managing external and internal suppliers or working in a franchise model
  • Past experience in dealing with partner firms/ solicitors (beneficial but not essential)
  • Some knowledge of the law (beneficial but not essential)
