Brand Manager (Maternity Cover) at Quality Solicitors

The key purpose of this role is to be accountable for the effective marketing management, direction both online and offline for the QualitySolicitors brand both nationally and locally.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Overseeing management of and partner firm websites with outsourced partner
  • National marketing campaigns as appropriate and PR agency management
  • Responsible for marketing budget (through cost saving initiatives, agency management, reporting and streamlining)
  • Responsible for financial planning / forecasting of marketing area
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with the Partner Firms
  • Responsible for effective team relations to ensure that a professional service is provided
  • Responsible for the effective leadership and management of the team of 4 people
  • To seek development opportunities for team members
  • Sign off and approve artwork and invoices
  • Deliver updates to the management team before the dates required (financial, Partner Firm projects and news)
  • Charity partnership management
  • To oversee all national and local design projects and provide strong direction and added value
  • Visits to Partner Firms throughout the UK to promote the use of the marketing services available and to discuss local marketing and how to improve in-line with the brand
  • Answer Partner Firm queries on online and offline marketing using experience and knowledge of what can be delivered within the business
  • To maintain up to date knowledge of all aspects of marketing - including new media, techniques and research tools

Skills required

  • Basic knowledge of the UK legal system
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; articulate and diplomatic
  • Highly organised and ability to multi task
  • Ability to prioritise and troubleshoot
  • Telephone handling experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proof reading experience, a keen eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Flexible and ability to adapt to change
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a small team and freelancers
  • A solid understanding of online and offline marketing
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Must hold a full, current, valid driver’s license.

Educational requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience

Experience requirements

  • At least five years’ online and offline marketing experience
