Digital Copywriter at Quality Solicitors
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an adaptable Copywriter to join a growing Legal Services brand. Working across both online and offline channels (weighted 70/30) you will be required to work closely with both the internal team and external agencies to produce compelling copy in line with our brand’s tone of voice.
Roles and responsibilities:
Digital content:
- Develop relationships within the business to support you in the creation and development of engaging legal content for our main website and network of member firms’ websites.
- Adapt and re-define content quickly and effectively for other channels, being responsive to deadlines.
- Work alongside our digital team to identify, create and implement SEO opportunities.
- Develop copy in support of online marketing strategy including PPC ad copy and display banners.
Brand communications:
- Creation of copy for brochures, advertising as well as key communications to our partners.
- Proof read and tone of voice sign off for key external communications.
- Repurposing content to adapt to other channels e.g. press release into blog articles, social media content.
- Brand guardian of tone of voice and house style and supporting with the development and evolution of our brand.
Local marketing activity:
- Working as part of the creative agency panel, production of copy for local marketing activities (online and offline) as and when requested.
- Development of best practice copy to be used as a template within our network.
Skills required
- Work well under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about the creation of copy which is engaging, creative and also supports the improvement of our lead generation and conversion goals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, team player with the ability to work using their own initiative.
- Highly organised individual who is able to motivate others to provide technical content required.
- A good communicator with experience in dealing with internal teams, customers and agencies.
Educational requirements
- A degree in marketing, journalism or media would be advantageous.
Experience requirements
- 5/6 years' copywriting experience, particularly with strong experience of creating digital copy including PPC/SEO.
- Previous experience in legal services an advantage but not essential.
