Completions Clerk - Residential Conveyancing

Looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a completions clerk to join our award-winning Residential Conveyancing team.

The role

The successful candidate will provide a vital role in the seamless operation of the team, providing paralegal and administrative support to the conveyancers.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with correspondence and documentation in relation to exchange, completion and post completion of freehold and leasehold transactions, including new build, unregistered and shared ownership properties.
  • Liaising with both clients and organisations and dealing with basic enquiries.
  • Assisting the team with the set-up of exchange and completions
  • Preparation of completion statements and financial matters
  • File closing and archiving
  • Resolve issues to ensure excellent client service is delivered

The person

The successful completions clerk will have:

  • Previous experience in dealing with residential conveyancing matters and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Knowledge of document and case management systems
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and numerical skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • An excellent attitude to work and a strong team player
