Completions Clerk - Residential Conveyancing
Looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a completions clerk to join our award-winning Residential Conveyancing team.
The role
The successful candidate will provide a vital role in the seamless operation of the team, providing paralegal and administrative support to the conveyancers.
Duties will include:
- Dealing with correspondence and documentation in relation to exchange, completion and post completion of freehold and leasehold transactions, including new build, unregistered and shared ownership properties.
- Liaising with both clients and organisations and dealing with basic enquiries.
- Assisting the team with the set-up of exchange and completions
- Preparation of completion statements and financial matters
- File closing and archiving
- Resolve issues to ensure excellent client service is delivered
The person
The successful completions clerk will have:
- Previous experience in dealing with residential conveyancing matters and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
- Excellent client care skills
- Knowledge of document and case management systems
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent verbal and numerical skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- The ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- An excellent attitude to work and a strong team player
