    On 26 January 2022, probate application fees in England and Wales will increase to £273 for both professional and personal applications, regardless of the size of the estate, under an amendment to the Non-Contentious Probate Fees Order 2004 published in December 2021.

    Estates of less than £5,000 will continue to not attract a fee.
