The meeting will include family members who care for relatives with dementia, several local councillors and Sir Jeremy Wright MP. The morning will give the opportunity to enlighten and advise Sir Jeremy of some of the difficulties that people with dementia and their families face when navigating the social care system.
Annabel will be there to give a legal context to these issues and explain the difficulties that she, as a solicitor has, when advising clients about their options and chances of success when querying local authority decisions under the Care Act 2014.
