Alex is a Solicitor in the Commercial Team specialising in Commercial Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring.
Alex acts for a broad range of clients including directors, private individuals and insolvency practitioners. Work undertaken includes advice on business related issues ranging from contract disputes to shareholder disputes, as well as the full range of issues arising in liquidations and bankruptcies.
Alex studied at Nottingham Law School where he completed his LPC. After graduating, Alex secured a training contract with a niche Commercial Property firm. During his contentious seats with a niche insolvency law firm and then Moore and Tibbits, Alex gained invaluable practical experience in bringing claims for office holders including a variety of antecedent transactions actions against both directors and third parties on behalf of the administrator or liquidator of companies or for trustees in bankruptcy to recover assets for creditors. This experience and exposure reaffirmed his desire to qualify into this area.
Alex is an active volunteer in his local community. Alex is an FA qualified football coach, Alex is a coach to an under 13’s at a grassroots club. Alex also coaches a semi-professional football team, who play in the Premier Division of the Midland Football League.
Alex regularly takes part in a number of projects with the charity Prince’s Trust as a mentor most notably on the “Mosaic” Challenge and Young Offenders projects.
