Kate Mahon, formerly of Davidson Mahon Solicitors, joined Moore & Tibbits in April 2022. Kate was originally called to the Bar in 2006 and cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2009.
Specialising in all aspects of private client work, Kate advises clients on:
- Preparing Wills
- Creating Trusts for vulnerable individuals
- Administering estates
- Obtaining Grants of Probate
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Making applications to the Court of Protection
- Advising farmers and business owners on inheritance tax and succession planning.
Kate believes strongly in exceptional client service. She takes the time to understand her client’s needs and situation to enable her to provide appropriate and practical advice. Kate understands that people have busy lives and it is not always easy to see a solicitor in “normal” working hours and therefore she is happy to see clients at home, at work or a place which is convenient for her clients and at times to suit her clients too.
Regularly working with Accountants and Financial Advisers, Kate ensures clients obtain practical advice so they can plan their future with confidence.
Kate strives to create long-lasting professional relationships with her clients and their families as well as her referrers.
Outside of work, Kate loves walking her dogs, Pasha and Max. She has recently started cycling (on dry days!) and enjoys her art classes.
