Monika Jirec
Monika works alongside Tim Ollerenshaw in our respected Commercial team.
Monika gained a Master’s Degree from Charles University in Prague and has previously worked as a paralegal in her native Czech Republic. Her experience in the Czech Republic included dealing with insolvency cases and debt recovery. She was responsible for the claims management, preparation of legal documents (including lawsuits and enforcement actions), legal research, correspondence and dealing with government authorities. She also attended a number of court hearings as the legal representative of clients.
Monika speaks four languages (Czech, English, French and Russian and has also had a book published in Prague (Presidential System of the United States of America)
Outside of work, Monika is a professional dance instructor (salsa, bachata and ballroom).
Monika has passed the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive (CILEX) exams and is now an Associate (ACILEx). She will become a CILEx paralegal in January 2022.
