Musonda Phiri
Solicitor
I am an assistant solicitor in the Court of Protection health and welfare team having qualified in September 2021.
Protecting the rights and interests of the vulnerable is an area I feel passionate about and I am privileged to work within this area of law. I am dedicated to ensuring clients feel supported and their voices heard throughout the legal process and I am persistent in representing the client’s best interest and that their needs are identified and met. I deal with a wide range of health and welfare cases including:
- assisting vulnerable adults to challenge restrictions which amount to a deprivation of their liberty.
- challenging the care plans of adults who lack mental capacity and ensuring that their human rights are upheld.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling and musical theatre.
Languages: English and French.
