Nicola joined Moore & Tibbits in 1976.
Nicola is perhaps the perfect example of Moore & Tibbits’ willingness to assist staff with career progression and advancement.
Nicola joined as a legal secretary, but a couple of years later was undertaking the Institute of Legal Executives course (ILEX), which combined day release or evening courses alongside work. This meant that she gained a better insight into the job she was already doing and advancing her career at the same time. Nicola qualified as a Fellow in 1984.
ILEX eventually became the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, so Nicola can now proudly put FCILEx after her name.
Once qualified, Nicola had her own clients in relation to conveyancing and personal injury work for a number of years.
In the more recent past, she oversaw the administration of our Criminal Team, ensuring the smooth running of the large numbers of cases the Team dealt with in local (and not so local) Courts and Police Stations.
For the past 6 years, Nicola has assisted the Directors in relation to compliance requirements and the administration of the Practice, putting her years of experience of Moore & Tibbits and the management of a Solicitors Practice to good use.
