Alison masterminded our new wills. Quite painless, apart from the bill. My wife feels that the frequent references to the "sadness" of the occasion were misplaced, and I have to agree. It is probably in the How to Do Wills manual, but we feel more relief and satisfaction than anything else, certainly not sadness. I found myself in a very difficult position of suddenly and unexpectedly needing an Employment Lawyer. Having rung around various organisations of differing sizes (inc Legal 500 firms), I found Lisa to be the most personable and pragmatic of those I spoke to, and instructed her to work on my behalf.

Overall the service was very good. I would make one small point: undoubtedly there are many tasks to be completed in the process of conveyancing and often, inevitably, a customer wants things to move faster than they can do. But there are some things that seemed to be slower than is typical in other industries/businesses, e.g. use of regular mail service to transfer documents that could be emailed and then an original signed by the customer followed up as the "official" copy.
