QualitySolicitors Palmers is modern, progressive and is part of a brand you can trust. QualitySolicitors is the UKs leading household name for legal services - we offer legal help to individuals and businesses locally in Effingham, Bookham, Fetcham and Ashtead and throughout the area.

You will always have direct access to your lawyer – we aim to provide a ‘same day response’ – so your call is never an inconvenience. The law is complicated. We try and keep it simple, that’s why we use plain and simple English, not technical jargon. Our promise of ‘no hidden costs’ means the only surprise you get from us is a nice one.

Our lawyers have been living and working locally since 1982 and we have in-depth knowledge of local issues and concerns which we put to use for all of our clients.

We are a progressive firm and are able to work in ways to suit you. We communicate for preference by e-mail and phone, but if you find it easier or more convenient to communicate by letter or in person that's fine by us.

We are proud of our committment to customer service. For a name you recognise and a brand you can trust, contact QualitySolicitors Palmers.

January has brought cold weather but a couple of favourable judgments in court for our clients have encouraged us this month

1. - A matrimonial case with total assets of several million pounds and complex issues involving expert evidence and children.

2. - A dispute between family members over ownership of property.

Disputes involving family members are always stressful, but congratulations to our Litigation partner Michelle Truelove for her sensitive handling of the cases.

Jamie Bond, one of our conveyancing solicitors, reports that sales and purchases are still proceeding despite the uncertainty caused by Brexit. "Buyers and sellers are sometimes nervous but with care the transactions are still going through" he says.

Our Probate department welcomes solicitor Caroline Mahoney back after a sabbatical. Probate partner Phil Palmer says "At this time of year sadly we have to brace ourselves for new cases. We now have four experienced solicitors able to handle wills, probate and Lasting powers of Attorney and will be able to deal with matters as they arrive."
