How do I make a complaint to my child’s school?

Every school is legally obliged to have a published complaints procedure document. If you don’t have a copy, the school secretary should be able to give you one. When making a complaint, follow the school’s official complaints procedure and keep copies of any letters you send or receive. If you don’t get the results you need using this process, you may be able to write to the school governors.
