Mathew Simkin

Conveyancing Assistant

My Role

I joined QualitySolicitors AcklamBond in 2016 as a conveyancing assistant where I began to learn the legal process required to deal with conveyancing matters.  My primary role is to support Julie in dealing with conveyancing matters and I undertake a wide range of duties such as liaising with clients, solicitors and estate agents, helping to draft documents, reviewing contract documentation, dealing with redemption of mortgages and undertaking compliance and general administrative duties.

I am passionate about client care and always go above and beyond for clients including arranging to see clients out of normal office hours.  I always try to explain matters in a clear and easy to understand manner and get a great sense of achievement when we are able to meet client expectations.

About me

I am from Blackburn and an avid Blackburn Rovers fan, which does not usually win many favours in the office!  I have always held a interest in legal work and jumped at the chance when I was given the opportunity to join QualitySolicitors AcklamBond in the conveyancing department.  I am further enhancing my legal career by undertaking the ILEX course in order to formally qualify as a chartered legal executive.

Outside of work I enjoy running and keeping fit.
