Do you accrue bank holidays when on maternity leave?

You continue to accrue full entitlement when on maternity leave, which may include paid bank holiday days. You cannot take this leave while on maternity, but you can talk to your employer about taking it just before or after to extend the maternity leave, or to have a phased return to work.
