I am an injured bus passenger - can I claim compensation?

Yes you can. The fault for the accident is likely to be either that of the bus/coach driver or another road user – not yours. On longer coach or minibus journeys you are expected to use the fitted seatbelts to minimise your injuries but even if you failed to, you can still make a claim. Local journeys in public service vehicles can often cause greater injuries as there are no seatbelts or passengers are standing.
