    The starting place to this question is the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 which state that employers must provide a reasonable temperature in the workplace. They do not however state what a reasonable temperature is.

    Japanese Knotweed was introduced into this country by our Victorian forebears as an ornamental garden plant with attractive flowers. Big mistake! As is now well known Japanese Knotweed is invasive and destructive and difficult to eradicate. Owners and occupiers of land rightfully dread the thought of Japanese Knotweed invading their land.

    Farmer and land owners in England will have to follow new rules regulating water and its use from 2nd April 2018. Many of these rules will overlap with the existing cross compliance regulations and nitrate vulnerable zone requirements for which many farmers and land owners are familiar, so many of these rules are not necessarily new but a re-statement and re-emphasis and for this reason DEFRA expects that most farmers will already comply.
