This isn't hubris: I know for a fact I was appointed to the management board of a legal charity in large part because none of the other trustees, nor many of the staff, knew their Twitter from their Tumblr. In fact, there was barely even email. I remember trying to send my first email, via a modem that kept dropping the connection. It took so long I ended up phoning the person who sent it and we chatted while I waited for the message to come through.Read more...
