The initial step is free of charge. Our free initial assessment allows you to discuss your situation and for us to assess whether we can advise you. It also allows us to understand what you are hoping to find out or achieve through the inquest process.
If you decide you’d like some legal support we can offer a choice.
- Many people find it useful to take advantage of the ‘Ask the Legal Expert’ - this provides 45 minutes of advice for a small Fixed fee. We consider the particular circumstances, the likely evidence and perhaps the questions you would want asked at Inquest.
- If you decide that you would like more help - for example with preparation and/or representation at the Inquest - we will give you a clear price before we start any work for you. And if it is appropriate we can look at a Fixed Price Service.
- Finally if you decide to start a compensation claim, again we can talk to you about managing this on a ‘no win - no fee’ basis.
Whatever you decide there will be clear communication on what likely costs may be - you can rest assure that we will never surprise you with an unexpected bill.
