In 1996, I left school, aged 16, and joined a local law firm and studied by distance learning for my Chartered Legal Executive exams. I became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in February 2006.

In April 2003, I joined QualitySolicitors Burton & Co Litigation Team. I currently Head the Litigation Department.

QualitySolicitors Burton & Co is one of the last remaining firms within the area to retain a Housing Franchise from the Legal Aid Agency. I supervise the Housing Franchise on behalf of the firm.

Acting both for Landlords and Tenants, the Department is regularly instructed on complex housing matters. The Department prides itself on working closely with the not-for-profit sector and various other organisations so as to ensure clients across the East Midlands and beyond can access Legal Services when they need them most.

As Head of Litigation at QualitySolicitors Burton & Co I also undertake general litigation matters, including contested probate claims, boundary disputes and general contract/consumer claims.

I am skilled in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and can offer flexible funding solutions to meet your requirements whether you are an individual or corporate client.
